Marina di Portorosa is a traditional landing place for sailing boats managed and owned by our company.
Located in Furnari, in the province of Messina, the landmark and attraction of the bay is the temple of Tindari. The closest destination is the Aeolian archipelago (Aeolian Islands, Vulcano, followed by Lipari and Salina, then Panarea and Stromboli, and further west Filicudi and Alicudi.
If you reach Sicily by plane, the journey from Catania airport takes about 2 hours; Palermo is about the same distance. If you are traveling by car from Messina, you can reach Portorosa in one hour on the motorway towards Palermo (Falcone exit). Entrance to the port is only allowed to unload luggage, after which it is necessary to park the vehicle in the parking lot next to the entrance.
There is something new in 2022 that we would like to share. Our headquarter has moved to a new office located to the right of the "Shopping Center," in front of the moored sailboats. Thus, boats, bars, restaurants, shops, and toilets are all close at hand. Christina, Antonio, and Christian take care of the structures and our customers; they also suggest the best solutions for mooring on the islands and offer technical and human support. We now have our brand new Dufour 470 Valkyrie, ready for its first season. Our boats, Sirius, Hedone, Malime, and Palmarola, are also waiting for you, branded Dufour.
